Painterly Portraits

My very favorite subjects to photograph are girls and horses!  In fact right now, I am currently writing an article about it!  Jennifer and Alex Franklin are so beautiful here with their lovely horses in the Nevada scenery.  Jennifer tells me that this beautiful wall portrait is displayed in her dad's office and when people enter, they often ask "Wow, is that a painting of your daughters?!"  That is a perfect compliment to us at Picture This!  We always strive to create a beautiful piece of art for your family! 

Oh, and the article?  It is for a professional photography magazine.  This is a project that I have always wanted to do since receiving my Master's and Craftsman Degree from the Professional Photographers of America.  I haven't ever seen an article about horses and of course their human partners in our pro publications, so I wanted to write one to help photographers get the best portraits possible!  Jennifer says, "Peg, the thing about your portraits with people and their horses, is that you always get them to connect with each other!"  Well thanks, Jen!  That is another wonderful compliment and just exactly what I strive to do!  xoxo, Peg

Sunset Silhouette

Here are some pretty sunset silhouettes for the Craig family.  What a special family they are!  We are so happy that they want to take a little bit of Nevada with them when they move away.  They are a military family and will sadly have to leave our little town pretty soon.  We wish them so much happiness and we are so thankful that they chose us to create some special portraits with the Nevada landscape in the background. 

 

2013 Senior Model Program Application

Here is our really cool form to fill out for our 2013 Senior Model Program.  We are searching for individuals that truly appreciate the Picture This! quality and would like to show their true beauty.  You don't have to be a perfect model size or look like a model to be accepted.  Look over our application and give it some thought!  Also you can ask any of our 15 -  2012 models about how they liked our program!  Actually the program is still going on for the 2012 models through this spring!!  Call us at 775-423-9700 for more information!
